The greatest challenges are for managers of mass-use facilities, such as train stations. In Western Europe, the use of sound-absorbing systems is becoming standard. Examples include Paddington Station in London, where vertical and horizontal metal panels with acoustic inserts are used, and the Zurich station, where micro-perforated metal ceilings are installed.

These products are not only focused on performance but also on sustainability. Many acoustic panels are manufactured and certified according to Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) standards, supporting circular construction principles and environmentally responsible building design.
