FM newsroom – sustainable operation. Terra Romania Utilaje de Construcții, a key player in the construction equipment industry and part of Austria’s Terra Holding, has inaugurated its new headquarters in Brașov. The €2.7 million investment signals the company’s commitment to growth, sustainability, and innovation in the Romanian market.
The newly opened HQ spans over 4,700 sqm of service workshop space with a 10-meter height, and includes a warehouse of more than 3,600 sqm. This facility serves as a regional hub for Terra Romania’s operations, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to expanding its footprint across the country.
Green Building, Net-Zero Goals
The headquarters was designed with sustainability at its core, incorporating photovoltaic panels, heat pumps, and high-performance insulation systems. These technologies enable the building to operate on a net-zero energy basis, producing as much energy as it consumes.
Future Plans in Timișoara and Turda
In line with its expansion strategy, Terra Romania has announced plans to open two additional branches in Timișoara and Turda. These developments are part of a broader effort to enhance service coverage and customer experience nationwide.
Victor Vasluian, General Manager of Terra Romania, emphasised for Romania Journal that this investment is not just about infrastructure, but also about building a sustainable future and strengthening client relationships across Romania.
