FM newsroom – office development, Poland. The Gdynia Waterfront complex, combining cutting-edge design with eco-conscious practices, demonstrates the future of green workspaces in the heart of the city.
Vastint has completed the II stage of the Gdynia Waterfront development. A modern multifunctional complex is being built in the heart of the city, next to Skwer Kościuszki. Ultimately, the scheme will offer 75,500 sqm of space.
Sustainability at the Core: LEED Platinum and Gold Certification
The first stage of the project – developed on a 4.2-ha site – includes a hotel awarded LEED Gold and an office building achieving LEED Platinum—the highest standard for green building design. Stage II office and residential developments are also in the process of pursuing LEED certification.
The office buildings in the second phase of the development offer nearly 16,000 sqm of leasable space, designed with sustainability and functionality in mind for tenants, including prominent companies such as Bank PKO BP and MSC.
More Green Spaces and Multi-Functionality
The upcoming third phase will expand this green vision, introducing a multifunctional building and a cultural pavilion, further reinforcing the city’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The Gdynia Waterfront project exemplifies how LEED certification can transform urban spaces into eco-friendly and efficient hubs for business and community life.
“Gdynia Waterfront is not only an investment in modern architecture but also in the city’s future. The revitalization of Gdynia’s waterfront is reshaping the landscape and creating new development opportunities for both residents, leisure and businesses. Once the entire project is complete, it will become a vibrant social hub, offering spaces for living, working, gatherings, and cultural activities. A new heart of Gdynia will be born here,” – Roger Andersson, Managing Director of Vastint Poland.
