FM newsroom – hospital operation, corporate news. Building on the experience of past workshops and valuable colleague feedback, the Healthcare Operations Division of B+N Hungary’s FM Directorate has continued its series of internal professional events. This year, the 3rd Hospital Operations Workshop brought together portfolio and site managers from across the field of hospital facility management to share knowledge and best practices.
Now in its third year, the workshop took place at the Lurdy Conference Centre. The morning programme began with a series of keynote presentations offering timely and practical information designed to support participants in their daily work.
Speakers included Ferenc Kis-Szölgyémi, Chief Executive Officer of B+N Referencia Zrt.; Tamás Kaczkó, Managing Director of B+N Hungary Ltd.; and Krisztina Dedicsné Gáspár, Director of the FM Directorate. The keynote talks were complemented by professional presentations from regional managers, portfolio managers and site managers, each providing insights directly linked to the participants’ day-to-day responsibilities.
Breakout Sessions, Dialogue and Practical Answers
Following the high attendance, the professional discussions continued after lunch in four parallel breakout sessions. Groups rotated every half hour, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to engage actively in the collaborative work. During these sessions, participants met with operations leaders and representatives of various engineering fields, receiving answers to both their pre-submitted questions and those raised on site.
The formal programme was further enriched by informal professional exchanges. According to participant feedback, the workshop offered genuinely useful, practical insights that can be applied in everyday operations. The event clearly demonstrated the value of creating opportunities for meaningful professional dialogue, and B+N remains committed to organising similar professional programmes in the future.
