FM newsroom – corporate news, employee excellence. Two employees of the B+N Group have been honoured for their exemplary humanity and presence of mind after saving the life of a disoriented young woman at Nagyvárad Square metro station.
Quick Action Prevents Tragedy
The company, B+N Group, recognised and rewarded the two members of its cleaning staff following their remarkable display of compassion and quick thinking. Late one evening, while carrying out their duties at the station, the colleagues noticed a young woman behaving in a confused manner on the platform. Thanks to their swift reaction, a serious accident was averted: they managed to pull her back from the edge of the platform just in time, preventing a tragedy. They then helped to calm the young woman and called an ambulance, which took over her care.
