B+N Awarded with a Prestigious Certificate in Slovenia

The Slovenian subsidiary of B+N has recently been awarded the ‘Socially Responsible Employer’ certificate. This prestigious honour is presented to companies which operate in Slovenia and represent socially responsible thinking and action not only in their principles but also in everyday practice. 

Slovenia enters the era of strategic management of social responsibility

The Socially Responsible Employer certificate is a new certificate based on the guidelines of the international standard for social responsibility ISO 26000. The goal is to improve socially responsible management in organizations and companies in Slovenia in relation to employees. With this, Slovenia enters the era of strategic management of social responsibility.

A diverse team of 600 people

B+N’s subsidiary in Slovenia has more than 30 years of experience in the field of cleaning and currently employs over 600 people. It is the world’s largest supplier of cleaners and equipment and uses the latest technological achievements in the field of cleaning.

B+N SL Facility Services takes into account a diverse and inclusive culture when hiring – more than 10% of employees are disabled, women make up more than 80% of employees; more than 35% are over 50 years old, and they also employ retirees. They provide employees with all the necessary training, certifications, seminars, and equipment, as well as an orderly and pleasant working environment.

B+N’s certificate

The certificate given to B+N Slovenia covers 4 key fields related to human issues, meaning that the company exhibited excellent performance in organizational management, work-life balance, cooperation between generations as well as workplace health and safety.
